Welcome to the BeyondBarre Basics Home Study Kit. Below you will find all of the tools necessary to create your own BeyondBarre workout or even teach all the fantastic fat-burning, body-sculpting, muscle-stretching, cardio-pumping exercises used in BeyondBarre studios all across the United States.

START HERE: How to Use the Home Study Manual & Videos - Study Guide & Practice Drills

Read through this Study Guide and then SCROLL DOWN to view the MANUAL & VIDEOS

1. The BeyondBarre Basics Manual - Book Work

  • Read through all of the material in the front section of the manual.

Pay close attention to the Teaching Compass, Cues, Guide Technique and Connections (Pages 14-16). These sections will teach you how teach the BeyondBarre exercises:

  • Learn the exercises
  • Memorize the exercise orders in the Class Orders section (Page 37).

2. Say It & Count It Drill

  • Practice the exercises from the BeyondBarre Basics class order with a group of 2-3 people.
  • Teach from the Teaching Compass formula using only the Say It and Count I. (The 'Focus It' component will be added in the next drill.)
  • Use your manual for this drill to be sure the exercises are done properly.
  • Complete a minimum of 4-8 repetitions of each exercise.

3. Say It, Count It, Focus It Drill

  • Practice the exercises from the BeyondBarre Basics class order with a group of 2-3 people.
  • Teach from the Teaching Compass formula using the Say It and Count It and Focus It components. (Do not use the manual for this drill.)
  • Complete a minimum of 4-8 repetitions of each exercise.

4. Guidance Technique Drill

  • Review the Guide Techniques. Think about what exercises can be used for each technique.
  • Practice a Guide Technique for each exercise moving through the BeyondBarre Sculpt at the Barre class order.

5. Creativity Tools Drill

  • Review the Creativity Tools.
  • Choose 3-4 exercises that can be varied using the Creativity Tools.
  • Practice teaching the new exercise variations using the Say It, Count It, Focus It formula.

6. Quick Drill

  • Teach the BeyondBarre Basics class order using only the Say It component of the Teaching Compass.
  • Complete 2-4 repetitions only.
  • If you forget an exercise go back to the beginning and start again. This will help you memorize the exercise order.

7. Teaching Drill

  • Teach the BeyondBarre Basics class order.
  • Teach using the Teaching Compass components; Say It, Count It, and Focus It.
  • Use your Guide Techniques to assist the class.
  • Use your voice to add interest and energy to the class.
  • Have fun!

8. BeyondBarre Basics Home-Study Video

3) Once you complete the test and receive a passing grade, you will be able to download your certificate of completion immediately. A minimum test-grade of 75% is required in order to receive our certificate stating that you have successfully completed the BeyondBarre Basics Home-Study Program

4) Don't forget to print and save your test results & certificate pdf!
