Lengthening

Extending and lifting the body is a very important part of the BeyondBarre workout. It is essential to cue lengthening of the limbs. I like to tell my clients to feel as if they are working in opposing directions. Grow tall through the crown of the head while remaining firmly rooted on the floor. Lift through the torso creating space between the lowest ribs and hips. Grow the space between the hips and the toes. All of these cues promote the lengthening of the body and a longer leaner appearance.]]>
