Lentils, Peas & Beans… Oh My!

Legumes are a great way to either substitute for meat products, or just trying to change up your protein intake. This includes lentils, chickpeas, adzuki beans, and many more. According to the Mayo Clinic, legumes are high in protein, but low in cholesterol, without out the drawbacks of meat. Legumes also pack in iron, potassium, and magnesium, which provide even more health benefits.  ]]>
