Summer vacation for kids is fast approaching, which means family holidays, beaches, and amusement parks. These are all fun and exciting but are usually the places we begin to compromise our healthy eating lifestyle. It also can put a bigger hole in our pockets. Pack healthy snacks from home and put them in your purse, beach bag, or backpack. Choose things that won’t spoil like dried fruit and nuts. When you or the kids get hungry you can avoid the cotton candy and cheese fries and snack on something that will make you feel better later.
