When working with the cuffed bands it is really easy to find the tension when pressing the leg away from your center, because the band gives automatic resistance. On the contrary, it is a lot hard to resist the leg coming back into the midline because the band is pushing you back in that direction. To challenge your clients cue them to “resist coming into the midline,” while they are wearing the bands. They will feel the work in the outer thigh and hips but it will be a challenge to feel the opposite. Cuing the midline connection here will increase the difficulty and add a new challenge to using the cuffed bands.]]>
