The GlideBoard prep is a great exercise to use when you’re trying to get a client to work the legs as much as possible. Here’s a trick to use when you want to increase the thigh-burn even more. Start by using the “gum scrapping” cue to make sure the feet stay on the board. Then, place a hand on the outside of the client’s thigh and tell them to push into your hand. Give them some resistance to increase the difficulty of the outward action. Cue the client to find their body’s own internal resistance when your hand is removed. This will get the client’s legs working with greater efficiency. And more resistance equals leaner legs!]]>
